We were going to do the great loop this year but life got in the way. Our wanderlust got the better of us however, so we decided to take another trip to Michigan and visit some of the spots we enjoyed on our last adventure.

We took longer sails so we could stop in places for a bit longer and do a little exploring. Plus the weather got the better of us a few times and we were forced to lay low and stay out of the wind and waves. We had a good visit to Cheboygan, spent 2 days in Mackinac Island, a few says in Charlevoix, Suttons Bay, Traverse City, Rogers City and Harrisville. We got to explore each area in a little greater detail and the time off from our volunteer efforts was wonderfully refreshing.
